MC Digital Lab follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. How the personal data is used

1. Email: for visitors and users to contact us. We use AWS for emails. The data (name, email address, email content) is used to contact you when required. For example, following an inquiry regarding a potential project or for updates to the project. Details about payment is another reason why we may contact you. We may contact you back via email, text, video, social media or phone. The manner we contact you back will depend on the nature of your message and your preferences, for example, if you say “Call me at phone number” in an email, we may contact you via phone.
2. Videoconference: for users and visitors to video chat with us. We use Zoom for this. The data is used to chat with you, a link to access Zoom is sent to your email address. After clicking on the link, you have access to the video conference. Zoom includes communications via video, voice and chat.
3. Analytics: to analyze traffic and see how visitors and users interact with, but not limited to, content, webpages, forms, etc. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for this. The data is used to have insights about how visitors and users interact with our content. There is no personal identifiable information coming from this data.
4. A/B testing tools: NextJS, which is the technology our website is built on. The data is processed via results shown in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. We see how certain versions of our website performs better in terms of clicks and engagement. There is no personal identifiable information coming from this data.
5. Payment processing and accounting: to give you the opportunity to purchase products and services. We use a secure payment platforms to process payments, we use Stripe, Paypal and bank transfers processed via our bank. Detailed information may be necessary if you were to have any inquiries, or to fulfill our legal, tax and accounting responsibilities. Examples of such details are, but not limited to, name, email, company name, invoice number, transaction number, etc. All the data is fully encrypted. Never share your financial information, credit card number, or bank login credentials via email, text, or chat.
